Aidan joined our Firm in 2018 and specialises in the areas of Property and Banking/Commercial matters. He also advises clients in areas such as Probate and Tax.
Prior to joining the Firm, Aidan worked for the Commercial Property and Banking Departments of a well-known large commercial Law Firm in Dublin. He has also worked in-house for a global financial institution with bases in the IFSC Dublin, London and Luxembourg, having trained in a general practice in West Cork.
He has particular expertise in acting for banks, receivers and private clients on complex conveyancing and banking transactions. Aidan has worked on loan sales, large re-financing and commercial leases and on the disposal of large property portfolios. He has also carried out property related due diligence and security reviews on corporate projects such as Share Purchase Agreements and Merger and Acquisition deals. He also has experience of working with SPV’s and other entities.
Aidan completed his Law Degree in NUI Galway and then attained an LLM Masters in Electronic and Commercial Law in University College Cork (2006) before qualifying as a Solicitor in Ireland in 2010. He is also admitted on the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. He has completed certificates in Corporate Governance and Investments Funds (2011) and a Certificate in Conveyancing with the Law Society of Ireland in 2014.
